Galvanised steel cable Ø12mm. Metal core composed of 133 strands in right-hand lay.

This is the most commonly used cable for equipping via ferrata and protected paths.

It is also suitable for equipping complicated routes as the cable is relatively easy to bend, shape into loops and fit into thimbles.

The diameter of this cable has been confirmed as a suitable measurement for via ferrata routes as the breakage load is able to resist the very high forces applied by the build-up of snow on slopes.

Conforms to EN 12385-4. Supplied with Certificate of Quality.
