In this section you will find all our anchors for caving, climbing and canyoning.
Reliability, practicality and safe progression guaranteed!
All items are in A316L stainless steel
Stainless steel AISI 316L bolt, short type (ØM8x60).
Recommended for caving and rescue anchors.
Features one expanding collar and is particularly suited for anchors in hard compact rock (limestone, marble, dolomite). Do not use on soft rocks (such as sandstone) or too hard (such as quartzite, granite).
In the M8 bolts, the classic nut and washer have been replaced with a single M8 flanged nut thus negating the laborious use of the small and easily-lost washer.
This allows the plate to be well tightened on a larger surface area.
In addition, this almost eliminates the natural loosening of the nut.
Attention!!! The article can be supplied with the previous model’s classic nut and washer on request and at no additional cost.
The expanding collar is a new design and has greatly improved on the previous version. The design phase focused on creating a technology which ensures expansion on an increased number of surfaces. Our tests show that this objective has been achieved. Attention: On particularly soft rocks (such as sandstone) all expansion bolts - including our own - are not recommended due to the unreliable nature of the supporting material. In these circumstances we recommend the use of fixed resin anchors (epoxy glue resin) or Multi-Monti screw anchors.
The material used in the majority of our anchors is now stainless steel AISI 316L, which offers a higher resistance to marine corrosion than the former AISI 304. To highlight this change each article is stamped with the relevant symbols. On bolts however, this would be invisible once the bolts have been placed so instead a small circular collar has been added (see photo below) to mark the difference between the two metals. This allows verification of the type of bolt used at any time.
