All items are in A316L stainless steel
Stainless steel belay station with two SUPERSTAR resin anchors (art.160), two chains and two abseil rings (art. 177).
The two chains allow the load to be spread evenly over the two anchors whilst distancing the abseil ring from the rock, allowing it to move freely.
Extremely strong and safe belay station.
To place this belay station using resin anchors we suggest following the instructions for art. 160 (Superstar Ø10x80, method “A”).
ATTENTION: The classic “SUPERSTAR Ø10x80” anchors can be substituted with larger and longer anchors such as the “MASTERFIX” (art.151 - 125 - 525) or equivalent, on request.
This can be very useful when the rock is very soft or loose. However this naturally incurs an additional cost.
From 2013 the material used in the majority of our anchors is now stainless steel AISI 316L, which offers a higher resistance to marine corrosion than the former AISI 304.
To highlight this change each article is stamped with the relevant symbols.
Attention: There is also a “Marina” version of this anchor which is highly resistant to saline corrosion.
To mark the difference between stainless steel AISI 316L and the marina version of the same material, all marine-suitable anchors have been marked with a fish symbol and the initials “INOX".
We recommend reading the attached PDF document for a detailed explanation of the problems presented by marine corrosion.
Note: Custom Belay Stations can be created on request.
